Mukhtaṣar Minhāj al Qāṣidīn is a summary of a summary of Imām al Ghazāli's Iḥyā' 'Ulūm al Dīn. 

Iḥyā' is widely considered to be one of the greatest works written on the topic of Islamic spirituality. In this term, the following topics were covered: 

  • Dispraise of ostentation and love of status and how to treat them.
  • Dispraise of pride and conceitedness.
  • Self-delusion and its types.
  • Repentance and its conditions.

The text was read in Arabic and translated immediately into English.
