Dalīl al Ṭālib - Section of Worship
A study of the classical primer written by Imām Mar'ī Ibn Yūsuf al Karmi (d.1033) covering Hanbali Fiqh. Pre-recorded Lessons covering the entire section of worship in 44 lessons
Written by the great Ḥanbali jurist Marʿī bin Yūsuf al Karmi (d.1033h), Dalīl al Ṭālib is one of the most recognised primers in Ḥanbali fiqh (law) that represents the relied upon positions of the school. The text is more advanced than other basic primers like Kitāb Furūʿ al Fiqh, Bidāyah al ʾĀbid & Manhaj al Sālikīn. It is similar to Zād al Mustaqniʿ by al Ḥajjāwi, although it mentions slightly fewer issues and is more representative of the relied upon position of the school of Imām Aḥmad.
The course covers the section of worship (purification, prayer, zakah, fasting, ḥajj & warfare). Please note, all of the classes have already been recorded and are available to watch on the site.
The aim of the class is for students to develop a basic understanding of fiqh according to the Ḥanbali school. By doing so, a student will have the foundations to develop a deeper understanding of the principles and philosophy of Islamic Law.
Please note the classes will not be delivered live. All of the classes have already been recorded. The first half of this course was recorded with students and the second half was recorded without students.
We do not grant lifetime access to any of our courses. For this course, students will have 12 months access to the course.
The lessons have mandatory multiple choice quizzes. You will not be able to proceed to the next lesson without taking the assessment.
