Recording Lesson 5
This course is designed for students with prior studies in fiqh and is not suitable for those with no previous exposure to the subject. While knowledge of Arabic is not essential, it is preferred. Please note that this course follows the Ḥanbalī school of thought, and instruction will be strictly within its framework. It is not a class in comparative fiqh.
The classes will be conducted live via Zoom, featuring high-quality audio and visuals to ensure an optimal learning experience. Sessions are interactive, allowing students to ask questions through both audio and the chat box. Additionally, a dedicated Telegram channel will be available, providing students with direct access to the teacher for continued engagement throughout the course. The classes will be delivered in English.
This is an open-ended class, meaning there is no fixed completion date, unlike other courses. Having already covered more than half of the text, we anticipate completing it within the next couple of years. Class Schedule: • Day: Tuesdays • Time: 7:30 – 9:30 PM BST • Resuming: April 1, 2025 • Term Duration: 16 Weeks
Weekly multiple-choice assessments will be assigned to reinforce learning and ensure comprehension. These assessments will be concise and will be reviewed at the beginning of each class, allowing students to clarify any misunderstandings and track their progress effectively.
Attendance is highly encouraged but not mandatory. If a student misses a class, they can access the recording on the student portal. Please note: • Each recording will be available for only 2 weeks after the lesson. • Lifetime access is not provided, as students are expected to attend regularly and complete the course within the designated term time.
We do not currently offer open access to recordings from previous terms. However, students who register for the current term and demonstrate strong performance in the weekly assessments may be granted access to recordings from past terms upon request.
